Editor's note
Meilleur Ouvrier de France (M.O.F.) in 1965, Jacques Mongin saved the heritage of traditional French cutlery in the Nogentais basin, when it was about to disappear. He has always been able to produce traditional pieces, with impeccable finishes and legendary polish.
Each piece is hand-crafted, from a single-bladed knife to a dagger and multi-piece knives. The fitting is always perfect, manual polishing is mirror, and the choice of materials governed by the requirement.
“La nature offre la matière. La main de l’homme en fait un Chef d’œuvre. » Jacques Mongin
